You weren't meant to walk this season alone.
Come away to be discipled, loved, and anchored in God's truth. Active Abundance pairs hiking with Scripture and sisterhood in some of His most breathtaking creation.
Most retreats give you a weekend to rest. We give you five days to be transformed. Active Abundance pilgrimages are intimate, small-group experiences for women walking through difficult seasons, whether that's grief, divorce, burnout, a faith crisis, or simply a chapter you never planned for. We go into the wilderness together because that's where God has always done His deepest work.
More than a retreat.
A discipleship pilgrimage.
What Makes This Different
Everything we do is built on a framework we call W.I.L.D., four pillars of discipleship that shape your entire journey.
W — Walk in Worship
Draw near to God in His presence and creation.
I — Ignite Faith
Strengthen your faith through Scripture, testimony, and surrender.
L — Lean on Community
Be known, encouraged, prayed for, and reminded you are not alone.
D — Dwell in God's Word
Anchor yourself in truth and learn to hear God personally through His Word.

The Active Abundance’s wellness retreat was a transformative experience for me! The hiking experiences allowed me to connect deeply with our creator, offering moments of peace and reflection. Alongside the physical challenges, the Biblical teachings provided spiritual nourishment that helped me reconnect with God and rediscover my inner strength. This retreat not only rejuvenated my body but also nurtured my mental and emotional health, giving me a renewed sense of purpose and clarity. I left feeling empowered, grounded, and ready to approach life with a fresh perspective.

Benefits of Going On A Retreat:
-
One of the biggest benefits of a retreat is the opportunity to relax and recharge mentally and emotionally. By getting away from the stresses of daily life, you can give your mind a chance to rest, rejuvenate, and reset. This can help you reduce stress, improve your mood, and increase your overall sense of well-being.
-
Many retreats offer activities like yoga, meditation, hiking, and other outdoor activities that can improve your physical health. These activities can help you build strength, increase your flexibility, and improve your cardiovascular health. In addition, you may also have access to healthy food and nutrition counseling, which can help you make positive changes to your diet and lifestyle.
-
Retreats offer a unique opportunity to step out of your comfort zone and try new things. This can help you build confidence, increase your self-awareness, and develop new skills and talents. Many retreats also offer workshops and seminars on personal growth and development, which can help you gain new insights and perspectives on your life.
-
Retreats provide an opportunity to connect with other like-minded individuals who are also focused on personal growth and self-improvement. This can be a great way to make new friends, build relationships, and create a support network that can help you achieve your goals.
-
By taking a break from your daily routine and immersing yourself in a new environment, you can gain a new perspective on your life and your goals. This can help you clarify your priorities, set new goals, and develop a plan of action for achieving them.
A retreat can be a transformative experience that can help you improve your physical, mental, and emotional well-being, develop new skills and talents, and create meaningful connections with others.
Whether you choose a spiritual retreat, a wellness retreat, or a creative retreat, investing in yourself can pay off in countless ways.
Hiking and Trail Running
These activities can be physically challenging and provide opportunities for women to push themselves outside of their comfort zones. Hiking and trail running also offer opportunities to connect with nature and appreciate God’s creation.
Prayer and Meditation
Prayer and Meditation can be incorporated into outdoor fitness retreats to help women relax, reduce stress, and connect with their inner selves. These practices can also help women deepen their spiritual practice and explore their faith in a new way.
Group Discussion and Bible Study
In addition to outdoor activities, group discussions, and Bible Studies can be a central part of women’s discipleship programs. These conversations can focus on topics like perseverance, hope, and faith in the midst of difficult times.
Solo Time in Nature
Allowing women to spend time alone in nature can be a powerful way for them to connect with God and reflect on their experiences. This solo time can be structured or unstructured, depending on the needs of the group.
